It's Time to Get Tropical!
Mandevilla and Hibiscus are notorious for their love of hot weather and beachy appearance! They easily add color to the landscape, garden, or containers featured around the home.
Tropical Hibiscus features bold, round flowers with yellow anthers at the ends of the branches that bloom from mid summer to early fall. Its glossy, pointy leaves remain dark green in color throughout the year.
Its medium texture blends into the garden, but can always be balanced by a couple of finer or coarser plants for an effective composition.
It is a good choice for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds to your yard, and luckily it's not particularly attractive to deer who tend to leave it alone.
Mandevilla features bold, tubular flowers along the branches from late spring to mid frost. Its glossy, pointy leaves remain dark green in color throughout the year.
This tropical twining vine is a lovely choice for trellises, garden fences or walls.
It prefers part shade to full sun and lots of moisture!
Like its tropical Hibiscus counterpart, Mandevilla is also a great choice for attracting pollinators to the garden or landscape and are also left alone by deer.
