Visual Marketing Manager

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION

As the Visual Marketing Manager at DeWayne’s, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and executing comprehensive marketing strategies. This position requires overseeing all aspects of the marketing team, focusing on both digital and visual marketing, with an emphasis on organic content and SEO.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Set clear objectives and KPI’s for the team.
  • Oversee the development of engaging content for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube and ensure content aligns with brand voice and strategy.
  • Enhance organic content and improve search engine rankings.
  • Supervise the maintenance and updating of the Shopify website with fresh images and copy.
  • Plan and execute strategic email campaigns related to seasonal updates and promotional information.
  • Guide the design process, ensuring high-quality visual content using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Supervise the design, print, and installation of in-store promotional signs and displays.
  • Oversee the creation of large-scale graphics for the store’s roadside appearance, including banners and Atrium wraps.
  • Coordinate and approve materials for upcoming campaigns, including signs, billboards, and digital updates.
  • Oversee tracking and management of custom print supplies, ensuring timely orders and updates of custom supplies as needed.
  • Lead the planning and execution of store events, coordinating all aspects including food trucks, vendors, door prizes, and logistics.
  • Monitor and manage all marketing-related expenses, ensure accurate and approved invoices, and handle submissions for co-op refunds.
  • Oversee digital communication with customers via social media inquiries, emails, and reviews.
  • Maintain and enhance professional relationships with local organizations, manage donation and sponsorship requests, and build relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure effective communication within the DeWayne’s team using Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned by the owners.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing required, with a focus on social media and content creation for retail or direct-to-consumer brands.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Proficiency in both paid and organic social media strategies, including analysis and measurements of KPI’s.
  • Experience with photography, videography, and basic editing.
  • Fluency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and managements tools (Sprout, Sprinklr).
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Ads and other digital advertising platforms.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial management principles.
